Per my sauce, I'm hearing David Johnson from Memphis and Andre Powell from Pitt. Take it FWIW, but he has no reason to lie. We shall see. Geaux Tigers

Update: Mickey Joseph announcement coming soon. David Johnson still in the running. Andre Powell looking less likely, apparently for personal reasons despite the great opportunity. Don't know why he hasn't anything specific on Robinson. I'd like to see him rep the purple and gold for sure. Geaux Tigers

Both of those guys would be homeruns in my opinion, perfect balance of coaching and recruiting.

When the coaching spot is approved, I bet he'll get something

One of the coaches, money being negotiated a hold up, is in the NFL according to informed sources. Not a CNN source.

recruiting

This is my major concern when bringing a guy in that has no connections what so ever to recruit players out of the south. Looks like he can coach players

Powell might be the best special teams coach in CFB.

Powell apparently has a very good reputation as a recruiter, but more in Mid Atlantic area. NC, Virginia, Maryland.

Landed 2 4* RB recruits this cycle, I believe.

He also has the credentials of coaching some big time tailbacks over the years
