And I agree with this but they set the precedent last year that Conf Championships don't always put you in from your conference. I don't like it but I knew as soon as OSU beat Wisconsin that Bama would be in. 6 team playoff with 1 at large hopefully comes soon but I honestly don't see it happening considering teams would have to give up a regular season game to make it happen from a health stand point.

Bama is NOT a top 4 team in the country

I would argue that they are not. They got beat, but Auburn- who got steam rolled by LSU (and Ga).....who lost to Troy. I am not saying that tOSU was a better team, I'm just saying that the gumps are not the be-all-to-end-all that some of you are pretending that they are.

I just hope Clemson embarrasses the short one again this year.

They've set some incredibly poor precedents. Conference championships don't seem to matter, and apparently quality wins and SOS don't matter either.

So why schedule any difficult OOC games and risk the loss?

The winning formula seems to be to schedule the easiest OOC opponents you can find, and then lose a conference game in the regular season so you (hopefully) don't have to go to the conference championship game. At the end of the season, you'll be sitting at 11-1, and will have an excellent shot at receiving a playoff bid.

Yeah theres no way LSU sitting at home on CC weekend while Bama goes and gets a loss is getting into the Playoffs over Bama. Its just not happening.

Drama queen

When you fail a test miserably it goes on your resume

Resumes do matter, bad champs in a terribly weak conference have been sniffed out!!! Rejoice!!

The only team in the SEC west who can pull that off is Bama. No way would we get that sort of benefit of the doubt.
