I think this is a very good example of why it's misleading to chalk QB production and potential up to coaching. QB is a unique position in football in that it's really difficult to project the position, no matter what the system or how good the coaching. So much of success is solely dependent on how well a player puts it together, whether or not the light goes on for them.

That's why I think it's a mistake to heap too much blame on CLM or Cam. It's also why I think the coach-speak "we will cater the offense to what our players do well," et al is so silly -has there ever been a coach or team that actually asks their players to do things they're unable to do?

I would have never guessed this

That is like saying the Dallas Cowboys are champions now, when they have won 1 playoff game in over 10 years.

Learn how to think, dude

I guess you are giving CLM credit for Russel, Flynn and Zack? Who is the fourth?

Who else you gonna give their credit too. When they were drafted who was the head coach? The 4th is RP. If he's not a Frick up then we never have the Lee/JJ debacle. Last year's debacle was due to youth and injury. Period. Have a good day.

Drafted qbs don't mean a thing it's how long they stay in the league and what awards they win in College. USC is qb U they've had a ton win the heisman, and do well in the pros.

The PositionU was started at Texas (DBU) because they had so many players at this position go to the NFL year after year. LSU has taken over this role, but PositionU is more of Pro. (when they announce what school they attended on MNF and SNF)
