LSU did not score one single point against Arky. What makes you think, that would have changed?

Because we were flat as frick and probably wouldn't have been so in that scenario.

No doubt it affected them. But you don't come out and just say frick it, the season is over. You come out and play your best week in week out.

I'm sure you did that in all your downs played.

10-2 state

They beat us

What am I missing

The fact that we are 8-4 and have a genius head coach that is sitting back right now; laughing to himself because he has the sec right where he wants them.......next year. Right?

Alexander and Fournette were banged up after the Bama game. This caused us to change the middle of our ETA* offensive line (my bad) completely around. I mean prior to TAMU, we ran between the center and guard on a very high percentage of our rushing plays. Losing a beast like Fournette and Vadal, quickly made us look A LOT worse than we actually were.

IMO, it had nothing to do with being depressed over Bama. It had everything to do, with losing the strength of our offense.

No. Bama would have gone because Tennessee had one more win than Kentucky.

I laugh when people say that beating Bama would have changed everything. What would it have changed?

Our offense sucked before the Bama game, during the Bama game, and after the Bama game. It was obvious that a game like Arky was coming sooner or later... When a team can stop us running the ball and force Jennings to throw, and control the clock on offense and have a very balanced attack.

And our team didn't quit vs Arky. Our D played solid, our offense sucked... Pretty much how the entire season has been. And we were missing 2 OL starters that game as well.

What would have changed had we beaten Bama? Would it make Jennings an average QB? Give us a great passing attack? Make all our offensive issues go away? No it wouldn't have. The only thing it would have given us is a little momentum. But our offensive issues would still be there.

And too many people are acting like the Arky game was a fluke. And it's not true. Arky has been playing really really good on both sides of that ball. They have 1 of the best run D and really good rushing O. Actually they are 26th in rushing offense and 22nd in rushing D. We are 27th in rushing O and 40th in rushing D. So they are a little better than us at running the ball and stopping the run. And have better QB play than we do.

Arky just flat out beat us.

Not that it matters because we lost 4, but it would have been LSU - common record against Ole Miss.
