Since he went to Ohio State you know he will be the Saints first pick

Stats aren't the end all be all for belitnikoff. MHjr had an amazing year with a mediocre qb and is literally the most can't miss nfl prospect this year.

He also didn't have BThomas Jr on the other side of the field. Like it or not having another beast wr like BTJr takes a bit of the shine off Malik.

He probably means that he didn't win on name "only". He played really well, but the name gave him the bump. He wouldn't have won had he just sucked.

Odunze and Nabers both deserved it more

Dude won an award because of his "Potential" in the NFL vs actual on-field production.

It should've been Nabers or Odunze. MHJ had at least 4 games this year with less than 45 yards receiving. WHat a joke. And don't cry about the QB, his numbers are nearly identical to last year when he had CJ Stroud.

Again... stats alone don't win the belitnikoff.

How many times has this been iterated? Fools gold with that one.

But it still means nothing to what the award is.

He watched his season get intercepted and did nothing to stop it

Were you griping last year when the guy with the 5th most yards won the award?
The belitnikoff has never been about raw stats and who leads the country in rec yards.
I wish Malik had won but to say MHjr didn't also deserve it is just crazy. Malik didn't even lead his team in all receiving stats.

I wonder how many of these people were throwing a fit when delpit won the Thorpe, with lesser stats than his competition?

I could lead my team in all receiving stats. 1-12-0, makes no difference.

MHJr is a great CFB WR, no doubt. This wasn't won on the field though.

It's mind blowing the supposed cfb fans think raw stats win awards.

The lb with the most talented tackles rarely wins the Butkis, the te this year didn't have the most receiving yards by a te, the leading wr for yards rarely wins the Belitnikoff. It sucks that one of our guys (whom is very much deserving) didn't win, but thems the breaks.

The guy with the 5th most yards won last year. I didn't see anyone saying it was robbed on here. Go check and see how many times the guy with the most receiving yards wins the award. It's rare that they do win it.
