Once again: 2/6 3 drops 1 throwaway on his first drive, Kelly chews him out, no more throwaways for the rest of the game. Are y’all making generalizations based off the stats or actually watching the game?

What game should we be looking at to see Nuss is clearly the guy?

What game are you watching that makes you want Nuss to start?

Nuss doesn’t have 30 starts under his belt like JD does . CBK was supposedly teaching JD to go through progressions . All I saw was a deer in the headlights !! Bambi runs like a deer , however . O-line play was pretty good , too . It’s worth it to give Nuss some playing time . Worth it to give the kid a shot . We have no chance to win with the QB performance last night .

I think we should trust Kelly, one of the best coaches in football. He obviously sees Daniels as our best chance to win. Nuss can throw the ball down field, which Daniels doesn't seem to be able to do, but Nuss is still young and makes the mistakes young QBs make. Let him mature then give him his shot.

I'm not complaining--about any QB. Wasn't it only 9-10 months ago that we didn't have a QB? A wide receiver suited up as QB because he had played QB in high school. He and 35 others suited up. For a bowl game.

That we can put a competitive team out there at all, let alone see the great plays I'm seeing from teenagers, is a great accomplishment. In 12-30 months we're going to once again see the football world get quiet when LSU and Bama take the field against each other.

The "projected number one receiver in the upcoming NFL Draft" doesn't seem very happy with Forrest Daniels.

I don't remember saying Daniels was a world beater, but the guy sitting behind him has seen plenty of play and he's a statue with a 55% completion rate with a 6.7 YPA that fails the eye test. That's worse pure passing than Daniels, and obviously the run game is infinitely better with Daniels.

There is no argument for Nuss beyond "the starter isn't a world beater so therefore the backup QB is the answer" which is basically never actually true.

It’s wild to think that after everything we’ve seen of him, people still think Nussmeier is a winning QB lmao

Daniel's doesn't turn it over...Nuss does. Stick with Daniels.

We have?

He hasn't started a single game and only played in garbage time. Completely useless.

Garbage and completely useless would be the only way to describe his play. He isn't ready.

4 game winning streak. Ranked in top 25. You really think a QB change is even remotely being considered?

Frankly, I am starting to think you are quite ignorance.

Daniels isnt the answer - but I’m not sure Nuss is either. Nuss I think deserves a shot, though. Ultimately, Howard is the answer.

I’m a Firm believer True Leaders get everyone around them to play better even on Defense.
Joe Burrow is a perfect example of how a great QB helps a line become better by knowing it’s strengths and weaknesses.
Anyone who truly believes 2019 LSU offensive line was the best in College Football that year, I have some ocean front property to sell you here in Austin.

** Point is coach needs to play the guy the players will run through a wall over.

Invite him to your pick up game then, but don't rely on him for LSU....until receivers learn to get open and we get a bona fide rb.

They receivers played like shitt bags lead by our “ AA “ who lead by example by dropping balls. We are better off without him at this point but the receivers aren’t necessarily the problem. This game happens fast and Daniels doesn’t process quick enough to ever be better than good.

The players seem to be playing their butts off while Daniels is in at QB.

He needs a look as the Daniels recipe will spell guaranteed failure. I would give Nuss a hard look. Maybe the coaches have seen enough of him deciding that he cannot do it either. The difference to me is that there is at least the theoretical possibility that coaching will improve Nuss. Daniels is pretty much what he is-a runner.
