Looks like they'll get a top 3 finish.

Am I looking at this right? Are we left with 3 events left for the men? Shouldn't we take big points in 110 hurdles and the 4*400? FL State done? If so looks like LSU and FL heads up for the championship?

A&M ate shite on the last barrier and now trails us by 9. We are likely to outscore them in the 110h, so they will trail us by at least 10 heading into the 4x4. It will be impossible for them to catch us (if we perform in the 110h) as long as we finish the 4x4.

Florida trails our men by 1. They are likely to trail us by something like 6-10 after the 110h. They are going to have to finish top 2 (a strong possibility) and hope we have a bit of a subpar race.

I saw that fall coming from Lelei. Texas A&M gives up 3 points with a fall on the last hurdle in the steeple. They finished 4th.

I wouldn't be so sure. Their hurdler has been running incredibly well. Would barely be an upset for him to beat Barrett by a spot or two.

We now lead Florida by 2 and A&M by 6. It's going to come down to the 4x4.

that one point not getting 3rd could be huge against us in the 4x4. If UF wins we have to get second to tie.

Pretty much have to beat UF for the all out win

Damn. That really couldn't have gone any worse. We are up 2 on Florida and up 6 on A&M. A&M we should be able to hold off. Florida we have to beat head to head unless two teams beat both of us. Then we can lose by one spot. If not, losing by one spot is a tie.

Sick to think the top 3 will be in one conference next year.

On the men's side. Had to clarify so tigercross wouldn't try to jump on me again

not neccesarily. If florida doesn't get first or second, which is possible with Arkansas, Penn St, Arkansas, and Mississippi St, we can win by losing to them by 1 spot.

Women now lead Oregon by 17. It's over for all intents and purposes.

I think USC will be up there, too. They have the 5th place 400 guy, 3rd place 400h, plus 2 other 45.x open 400m runners. It is entirely possible that Florida does not win this race. Of course, they have their ace-in-the-hole anchoring.

Alright all weve got left is the 4x4. If Florida gets the baton on the last exchange anywhere close to us on the last leg, we can forget about winning. Our second and third legs are better than theirs, so they need to build a big lead.

I'd feel a lot better if Caleb Williams, LSU's best 400 guy, was running.
