Sucks to not win nationals but to come in seeded 4th and end up runner's up isn't terrible

Our 2nd leg ran terribly. Our 3rd and 4th legs ran out of their minds, but it was not enough.

McQuay killed it, wasn't even trying. That's ridiculous, fastest time in the world.

Great meet by the men. Had our chances but like I said going into the meet we were suppose to have no chance to finish better than 4th according to the experts so good showing by the men.

Women came in and dominated. Add another National Championship of the track equivalent to the Intimidator

The women broke the old meet record in the 4x4, but lost to Oregon by a fraction. Win the meet by 14 points.

The announcers sound so disappointed Oregon didn't win the team title

Gray Horn isn't injured. He got kicked off for a DUI. Nice try.

Where you guys get the idea that we were seeded 4th as if it was set in stone is baffling to me.

Texas A&M was ranked 1st and LSU 2nd. The form chart is incredibly misleading. LSU had as good a shot as anyone except maybe Texas A&M.

If this is true, these experts are arse-clowns. No real expert would say that. In fact, LSU's over/under would be set to finish high than 4th.

I'm very confident LSU will finish 4th and FSU will finish 1st.

Where A&M and UF go is a coin toss.

Nice predictions, chief.

Track and Field News's formcharts are utterly laughable. Were they to be tried in a court of Taste and Decency, they would be found wanting.

TFN used to be relevant in the 70s and 80s. Now, they get by on their name and the fact that no one else really cares to cover athletics in the form of a monthly magazine anymore. Garry Hill (the owner/editor) is no longer particularly interested in making relevant predictions; he would rather spend his time in bars and insinuating himself with popular athletes.

If you want some really good (or bad) humour, check out T&FN's Olympic Trials formcharts. No one who has paid even the smallest amount of attention to athletics over the past 18 months could possibly make picks as ghastly as theirs.

Congratulations to Coach Shaver!

I'm thrilled that LSU won the Women's NCAA by large margin, and came close to Men's NCAA title.

It has to be sweet that Shaver beat Pat Henry's TAM men' s and women's teams. Actually doubled the points of his women's teams. And of course Shaver did it with head to head recruiting battle against his old boss.

Had Henry not missed on Kimberlyn Duncan, the A&M women would be celebrating their fourth national championship. How he overlooked Duncan is beyond me, but we certainly haven't been able to get anyone else out of Texas that he wanted since he left LSU.
