Was Greg McMahan the most under appreciated coordinator in LSU history? Say what you want be we have had sold special teams for a while and forgot just how important ST are to the game.

Coaching had nothing to do with the muffed punts and the shanked punt. I would doubt Neighbors was dropping punts in practice. The blocks are a different story that shouldn’t happen.

The muffs should not happen. It was his first time in real action doing it.

The blocks on the kicks should not happen. They did.

Our kick coverage was fairly good.

As they should, but I’m not sure this is a coaching issue. Nabers has to catch those balls. The left side of the line has to block someone. Sure it’s easier to blame the coaches, but Christ man do the job you were put into position to do as a player.

You think they were coached to drop punts and miss field goals?

That was the worst performance I’ve seen on special teams since Oregon State 2004. Worst I’ve ever seen from LSU.
