For one, making a point that you can't do what I asked.

We have one great win and one meh win against Wisconsin.

Are you trying to argue that LSU should be ranked higher? Because they shouldn't. Are you trying to argue that LSU should go to the SEC Championship game? Because quality of wins don't matter for that.

Of course they'll drop after LSU beats them. You go by what they were at the time of the game, like a normal person and the media.

Yes, factor what they've done since, but not the rank.

Pretty sure Kentucky was ranked #23 when LSU played them.

does A&M get to claim they beat a top 5 South Carolina team?

Tell me, Condi Rice, why don't quality wins mean anything when it comes to playoffs?

Because a 2 loss LSU that doesn't win it's division isn't going to the playoffs. So the point is moot.

Yes! Who the frick do you think they beat?

If LSU beats a #20 team and that drops them out of the top 25, does that mean LSU beat an unranked team??

You don't know that, Condi.

The BEST 4 get in, not who has the best records. This is not the BCS.

Unless Ohio State, Notre Dame both have 2 losses, LSU is not getting in.

And you don't know whether the committee is going to go by resume or who's best at the end. The reason there is a playoff and a committee in the first place is to prevent a repeat of 1/9. Nobody wanted to see that then and nobody wants to see it now.

Luckily this can easily be validated. UK was 30/31 in the AP and Coaches polls going into the LSU game

CFB Week 8 Polls

I applaud your effort to try and talk LSU into the playoff conversation but it is far too early.

So A&M counts as a quality win then right??

That puts Miss State and Ole Miss and Bama better than LSU alone.
