I guess after that kind of sophomore season, sure, he'd want to leave, but didn't know if Garrett's comment was based solely on that idea or some kind of "insider info".
I'm sure this will fuel the flames of the "fournette gave up on his team" crowd. I'm not one of them even though I was bummed he signed with an agent so early.

doesnt make any sense..... how exactly do you "try" to leave after your sophomore season...take the nfl to court? Didnt do that.. Sit out? Nope...What he did do is injure his ankle preseason then reinjure it giving 100% trying to keep his team from losing its goal of a natty in week 1. Seems like hes trying to throw shade at lsu as a program because hes salty about LSUs domination of aTm and our O linemans domination of him the last 3 years

Well if he wanted to leave then why didn't he? He could've sat out this year and then went to the league. Instead he came back and averaged 6.5 yards per carry on one leg.

Actually, head-on, our team was waaaaaay better than them. Our backup RB broke the all-time LSU rushing record against them and Etling even threw for 300+ yards. I thought Garrett was already in the NFL because I didn't see him or hear his name called against LSU.

And he will be shite. Garrett is one of the most Overrated players i've ever seen. The dude was a stud against cupcakes and trash against a team with a pulse.
