I
this man figured it out
its a game that you really have nothing to do with. Yeah their you team and you want them to win so bad but it shouldnt be the most important thing in your life.
this coming from the guy who turned his phone off for 2 days after the NC. I hate when LSU loses, im pissed on sunday too but eventually you just have to get over it

I am 46. My wife is an LSU grad, and understands how important LSU football is to me specifically
Care to explain this with more detail?
It's one thing to cheer for a team during good times and wish them better the next time, but its another thing to get that over worked and riot in your own house and scare the hell out of your family when things don't go your way.
What difference could you possibly make as a fan?

Dude when I was 24 I watched football like this, but you have to mellow out some. Ive mellowed in 4 years, but still get angry. If I am this way by 46 Ill have to stop watching.

I get pretty fired up, too, but not to that extent. I'll yell at the TV like an idiot fairly regularly. I'm not gonna judge you, though. Even though I think that's what you were asking for.

Take a chill pill, my man. We all love our Tigers, but dial it down and just enjoy the experience of college football in the fall. Losses happen and I don't like it either, but no need to do the nonsense you're doing.

What you have to do is go into the game expecting LSU to lose, players to play terribly, and Miles to make bonehead mistakes. Then if some of that doesnt happen, you are pleasantly suprised and tolerable to be around.

high expectations are inversely proportionate to our serenity
