My take on the game

I know that everyone has their two cents so here's mine.
1) Is anyone really suprised about the officiating? For some reason I am not even upset. Its like I knew it was going to happen.
2) Crowton needs to get it together or leave. The constant stupid penalties and confusion are just killing us. In my opinion he is trying to be too creative with his formations and play calls and not focusing engough on execution. You don't see the defense having the kind of problems we are having on offense.
3) This game was won before it even kicked off. Alabama was stronger and tougher and simply wore us down. Our conditioning has clearly become an issue and it must be addressed. We had people down almost every other play it seemed liked. Either Moffitt has gotten complacent since his new contract or Miles is simply not pushing his players hard enough. I know we have had some problems attrition wise but there still no excuse for guys to get pushed around like that.

I am worried about our D-line come next year. If we looked that shitty against bama with mostly seniors, I sure hope our underclassmen step up next year otherwise it's going to be a long one

I think its a GOOD thing that these seniors on the DL are moving on. I mean the underclassmen cant do no worse right? cant go down anymore when we are already ranked at or near the bottom.

Great topic and post. I too believe Crowton may be the problem. He draws up good plays, but he may not be the best at getting the most from his players. It also seems he doesn't design an offense to his players strengths. Based on the past, On average it takes a QB and Center to be really football smart and more than likely at least juniors. JJ is good. Hebert is good. But they will be sooooooooo much better next year.
But if they go down, who can step up and be just as effective. I think if we keep going down this road, we are going to wind up like Ga. They can only win, when their QB has started at least 2 years. This is not development. And it seems this is how we are developing key positions. Ex 1. RS hasn't thrown a pass all year. Ex. 2 Scott runs better behind a fullback. Ex 3. KW runs better on the perimeter.I can go on and on.
