Come on guys. My family on my Dads side is from southern Arky, and would give you shirt of their back. They are cheap to a fault, (grew up with Sam Walton, who was also that way), except on dealing with others, (I have heard if Walmart doesnt sell it you dont need it million times.), tithe 20% to church every year, and some of the hardest working people you ever want to meet.
And all are all big, my grandmother was 6'1 and all my uncles and cousins are over 6'4, have two over 7' and as good natured people you will ever want to meet. No way near as fun as LSU people, but would never be rude, start shite, or come close to being obnoxious despite being able to bench press a car. (Most dont drink much if any at all which helps)

They would pull over the side of road after you pull a tire, and help you change a flat even with your car decked out in LSU flags etc, even after a LSU win as it is right thing to do. (Heard million times)

There is not a lot of things to brag about in Arky unless you are a Tyson or Walton, and if they are under 50, they have not done a damn thing but screw up their whole lives anyway. (Sam would be so disappointed but that is another story.)

So cut them some slack and be glad you don't live there. It is almost totally a poor depressed state. (Kinda like North Louisiana minus the oil.)

Anyway, dont let a few bad apples spoil the barrel. And yeah the food sucks compared to South Louisiana. Find some country fried steak or something like that.
