This is a 9-3 or 10-2 team. Everyone said they expected that and would be happy with that. I still think this is exactly what we will get.

We basically played this game without 5 of our best DL. This causes D on the field too long, get run raged and eventually break. The O owns their share of the blame, but the DL lack of personnel was the major contributor and officiating didn't help either.

This team is thin at some positions, inexperienced at many, but very talented. If we have to lose a game and get punched in the face to get our shite together I would rather it be against MSU and not Bama. We have always played BAMA close, that's not changing this year.

If they pull their shite together as I expect they will this team could still beat BAMA.

If they won all their games and lost to BAMA, we still would not win the SEC W, SEC or NC. With one loss (not to BAMA), they can still win the West, the SEC and have a chance for the NC.

I am no where near ready to give up on this team or coaching staff.

They will play better, the play calling will adjust to SEC play and we will be a 10-2 team when its all said and done.

Geaux Tigers.

Love the enthusiasm but you're wrong

Edit: You actually might be a little bit delusional

Mostly everyone expects O to pop LSU in the microwave and have a championship team. Smh. Maybe just maybe we give him a shot at running the program and let him fix the issues. Maybe it works maybe it won't but you also have to understand if you fire him, you have a 12 mil buyout plus all of the coaches at the school walk out as well. Then you have the risk of no great or close to great coach coming in to a disaster/dumpster fire cause of previous leadership and all that has happened over one year. Would you want to come to LSU if you knew you weren't successful after one year the fan base calls for your head?

I was thinking 9-3 or 10-2 as well. And yes it could still happen.
My problem is with the lack of control and discipline I'm seeing
Those are the things that get you to 6-6 and 7-5

Joe Alleva may also become a competent AD, the odds are about the same.

Although I don't agree with all of this I do agree to not give up on this team. No matter the outcome, I will always love LSU and never give up on them. Screw all the fair weather fans.

Mine too. I predicted 8-4 and a trip to the Music City Bowl

I say this as one of LSU's biggest fans!

I hope for the best, brace for the worst and expect somewhere in the upper middle.

If LSU loses, I still have an amazing life, successful marriage, great family and am surrounded by great friends.

If any of you are an more invested in this than that and LSU football is your life, you really need to take a hard look at your life. Based on some of the comments on this and other threads you some people are out of control.

If LSU had a championship year and you cheered or fell to 3-8 and you jumped off a bridge, the team wouldn't know anything about you or give 2 shits anyway. You really have to learn to put things into perspective.
