same with my mom....dad and I would always get too intense. no matter the situation, mom was always positive and her support would never waver.

She wasn't sick and died suddenly.

prayers for her those she touched.

a life well spent....follow her lead.

You've provided a great memorial to your mom by sharing her love for the Tigers and your love for her to the most passionate fanbase on the planet. I'm giving my mom a call today.

Love of LSU football is one of the things that kept my dad and I close over the years. He's been gone since 2008.

Sorry for your loss,

Thanks for the post... I am truly sorry for your loss..

My mother is coming up for my oldest daughters birthday in a couple weeks. We will be watching the AU game together. She lives 14 hours away and I haven't got to watch a game with her since 2009.

Your post will allow me to savor the experience even more now. Thanks!

MississippiLSUfan, I was born in Brookhaven, although I lived most of my life in Gonzales, La. i lost my Mom in fall of 2006 right after the Arizona game. I definitely feel your loss. Not a day goes by that I dont miss my Mom. She too was a huge Tiger fan and man could I tell you of the good times. My dad had a conversion Van and took my mom and family down to the Orange Bowl in 1982, what a good time we had even losing to Nebraska by one point. Anyway hang in there and as time goes by it will get better.

Sorry to bump this back to the front page but I wanted to thank all of you for the thoughts and prayers.

I can never thank the folks that replied enough for the sound and heartfelt advice and rememberances of their parents.

These mean more than you will ever know.

Pimp...shoot me an email when you can.
