He was a proven failure as a DC. I don't know how some delude themselves into thinking otherwise.

I agree, much like cam has been a proven failure at oc over and over again getting fired from every job.

Les doesn't grasp things, Its almost like he star chases in recruiting instead of looking at scheme and figuring what players work best for our system. It is how we end up with wrs, running backs, and oline that belong in a pro style and a qb that is a spread option style qb.

The D is built for man to man with our secondary but les clown hires a guy that runs zone.

If steele likes money he should take a demotion to linebacker coach and then we can make ed o the dc or bring in a dc.

I just want to see an OC coaching from the field. It pisses me off when or QB comes off the field and really has no one talking to him.

I don't care if BDP can recruit, he CANNOT coach. We have two very good recruiters, that just so happen know how to coach too. Orgeron and Wilson are just fine for the recruiting edge. And I said that Miles should only stay if he has NO part in the offense. I would just love to see what an offensive coordinator could do with all of the talent, and no Les Miles input.

I think the problem you have is that really at this point, what decent OC are you going to get to come in here on essentially a 1 year deal? You already wouldn't guarantee Chavis anything past 2016, I seriously doubt that stance has now changed. I'm not even sure Cam is going to want to stick around for a new, 1 year deal. Even O and Steele are only signed through next year.

If you're Alleva you've obviously set it up to clean house after 2016 if need be, you can't really make any major staff changes this offseason if you want to keep that plan in place because nobody worth anything is going to want to be put in that position.

the best in the game are all on the field now. This isn't the 1970s anymore

1. Not likely
2. Hopefully
3. BDP could maybe be recruiting coordinator assistant and nothing else.
4. Yep
5. Yep. But that's not the problem. We need different type of recruits and they are working on that
6. Yeah, but that's been the plan all along so no reason to point that out. Pocic needs to be there now. Should have found another answer for Center.

AbsofrickINGlutely not. He is a fricking cancer and needs to be eradicated with extreme prejudice.

Why would you want that fricking clown anywhere near the program? He wrecked the D in 08 and has completely torpedoed the ST this year. Not to mention the stellar fricking job he is doing with the LBs...

So fail and get an admin position?

Can we hire Muschamp as HC in waiting? Or do we jump right to hiring Petrino, the UL coach?

Certain positions seem to be a bitch, like qb. It's as if they see what we see

I don't think qb is a bitch to recruit. I think that is a by product of les miles not having a clue. He recruits highly recruited qbs but they don't fit in our system. The only qbs that have it our system that miles actually recruited are Lee and Mett.

Make Bebe the Associate HC also. I'd prefer he be the RC also but I guess Steele can be named deputy RC.

yet Les didn't even know what he had with Lee. He got to sit on the bench because JJ had Les by the nutsack with those pics. Lee came so far from 08.

I don't think I'll ever get over 1/9.

FWIW I think Steele was an attempt to fix the recruiting the wrong type of player issues. However it was addressed wrong, he should have been brought in as the LB coach/ special teams. fire bdp, bring ed in has the dline coach and then make the hire for dc.

I think Bebe will be gone if we don't make a good attempt to keep him. He has a few HC opps out there.

LSU is his dream school and I think he'd stay whether Miles is here or not, but let's give him a shot at DC I say.

LOL, GOC said hi. Great Tiger, but Lee was just OK with decent protection.

History shows no way Lee has JJ's 65% compl 1-9-12.
You have a new QB debacle vs Bama to vent over now. Move on.

what happened on 1/9 (Les) and Harris' performance this year vs Bama aren't even remotely in the same stratosphere of relation. They have nothing to do with each other.

I would like to see a young, on the sidelines OC, so CLM can't override every play and call a toss/dive. I hate Lame Kiffin, but someone like him on the sideline calling the plays.

My favorite thing about Muschamp when he was at LSU was his sideline presence. Constantly firing up the defense when they had a great play or a great series. Don't ever see that anymore. The games at TS seem different to me now. It just isn't the same and I can't really explain it.
