I hope you are correct.

However, they were playing for O vs Fla & were a 2 TD favorite.

I have no idea what their mindset will be.

We can't just dismiss the fact that we just played an SEC team a few days ago. This game would be difficult if we were playing for the West, much less playing to go to the Peach Bowl.

Regardless if we win or lose the ultimate outcome will be the same IMO for Orgeron. A win and better bowl opportunity will certainly make the job more attractive for potential candidates

Were they not playing for O (and more!) against Bama and Florida?

If we score 4 different times inside the 5 we would have rolled Florida. That's not on O. That's execution on the players part.

And who's in charge of getting their players to execute?

Kind of late for that. Everyone knew if he couldn't beat Bama, he would have to do something noteworthy. The Sugarbowl presented itself nicely and all he had to do was beat a Florida team held together with spit and rubberbands AT HOME. Then go on the road to handle their bitch in A&M who is also banged up bad.

If they wanted to play for O's job they wouldn't have shite the bed this past weekend.

Think people forget that they came out firing and dominating like they should, but after squandering the chance to put them away on the second drive (Guice red zone fumble), then squandered field goal, everyone could feel the momentum change in gators favor. Gators gained more confidence that LSU gave them by letting them hang around with mistakes, and cautious calls in red zone instead of playing to win. It will be interesting to see how they respond this week.

Too bad they weren't last weekend and were too caught up being pre-game badasses to UF.
