Props to the poster that told me it was going to be hot as hell in there. He wasn't lying. We were crammed in there like sardines.

Also, they didn't have hardly any piped in music and it reminded me of LSU Football of old. The piped in music at Tiger Stadium needs to go.

Last but not least. It was so freaking awesome watching the band play the whole time during the Tom Petty tribute and watching all those babies cry.

My first game in the Swamp was 2002 . Went in there and hammered them 36-7. This was so freaking awesome since we got hammered by them through the Visor years. Never saw that stadium filled with so many fans with hands in face. Only down point was we lost Mauck at the end of that game that sunk our season . Never forget on the way in the stadium all the gator fans were yelling welcome to the swamp bitch!! Walking out all the LSU fans were yelling welcome to the PUDDLE!!

My first game there was 1982. Dalton Hilliard wrecked them . We got cussed out on the way in, during the game, and on the way out . And I was but a lad. They are a curious mix between rednecks and Vinnies, emphasis on the latter. They love to talk shite and lose to LSU.

Yours was better than my first game in the Swamp in 1996. It was hot as balls and LSU Lost 56-14. The highlight of the day. Getting hammered at the Purple Porpoise after the game.

Yeah Lsu took over that club after the game in 2002. Right across the street by the stadium. What a classic night that was . Priceless.

Ah yes...the good ole days of Ike Hilliard giving LSU fans the business in the midst of an epic beat down. Those were the days.

Whose idea was it to provide piped in muzak into Tiger Stadium? It's crazy, and detracts mightily from football enjoyment (not that there was any of that vs Troy).

That was one awful football game. I remember LSU trailed 6-42 AT THE HALF and the Gators had 650 yards total offense (350 yards rushing). It was brutal, it was hot, and it wasn't a good time to be a Tiger.

Dude don't perpetuate this lie being told by the gator fans. I was there too and the band played while their band was playing their gay arse "We Are The Boys". NOT through the whole tribute.

We were not playing during the tribute.

I was there. People were nice to us before the game, probably because they didn't think we could beat them. Same people after the game wouldn't even talk to us, lol.
I remember how these people were just as concerned with FSU's game as their own. we smoked them that night.

You should have been there during my first game at the Swamp in 1988. The field was M.F. artificial turf. I don't know why they play football games during the daytime in Gainesville from September through early October.

bullshite. I was there too. There are multiple videos all over the internet. Apparently LSU told Florida that they were going to play because it's a tradition to play the TD song at the start of the 4th qtr and Florida was supposed to play the Tom Petty tribute after. Well they didn't wait. So it's on them not LSU.

Bunch of rednecks, old moody fricks, and hot chicks.

I had to put something good in there.

TGBFTL did not dis Tom Petty.

As I am sure you are aware, the band plays Pregame between the 3 & 4 Quarter. The band started playing this before the 3 Q ended and the dumbasses that ran the jumbotron started the stuff too soon to give FU a reason to whine.
