Sumlin is by far better bc aTm only tried a 53 yarder a drive later and missed.

And he also thought that passing 50+ times was a way to be successful in this conference.

It isn't.

I worked in the recruiting office for Coach Nader many moons ago. I also had cousin who recently graduated from LSU, who also worked in the football office. She worked for three different coaches before graduating... Monken, Peev, then Chavis.
Both of us are from Texas, and attended the game Saturday with PSA's (Prospective Student Athlete or Recruit), both of us wore our Purple & Gold, while the recruits did have on A&M attire or neutral clothing. Everyone we came into contact with were very nice to us, from the recruiting department, to the fans in stands, to the NFL players on the sidelines, to A&M players & Coaches after the game.
Basically, I have no gripes. We had a great time & LSU won. Even in the stands surrounded by all their fans when LSU pulled ahead and we went crazy, nothing, they just laughed.
My only complaint was I got so tired of hearing the QB called by his first name!!!! Not really a true complaint!!!

Everyone saying to tighten up, stay home, you're being a pussy, etc missed the point of the thread completely. I'm simply pointing out that MY experience didn't show Aggies to be much better fans than the average Gator, even with their self righteous talk of how nice they are. Not complaining about trash talk.

I sat in the Aggie student section for the game, and things didn't improve at all.

First mistake right here. Any opinions of an SEC opponents entire fan base should be disregarded if your game seats are situated in THEIR student section.

got yelled at for telling people off for booing and disrespecting our injured players but was prowptly scolded for pointing out dives that Aggies took.

Why do this in THEIR student section ? Sit back and chuckle. Your a guest.

quote:

They're very trigger happy on the trash talk before the game or for the short time they're ahead, but once you respond with some of your own, you're called a trashy Louisianian.

Again, why give them ammunition ? They are passionate fans just like we are, they are watching a 12 point lead evaporate in front of their eyes, in a game which could be THE signature win for their program since joining the SEC. AND AGAIN, to top it off, you are in THEIR student section. You seem like a glutton for punishment. Why not go attend the million man march and start throwing around the "N Word" while waving a confederate flag.
I know your young, but what could you have possibly expected ?
