We've had just one elite QB in 10 years under Miles and we only had him (Mett) for 2/3 years. Check out A&M's true freshman QB. He's the real deal.

Even with Mett, OBJ, and Jarvis last year we ranked 108th in the country in pass attempts last year.
There is an old saying in engineering... "Figures lie and Liars figure." While I am not calling you a liar you are misleading. Yes LSU was 109th in passing attempts last year in FBS but they were 43rd in yards and 46th in TD's. Additionally LSU was #2 in yards per attempt only surpassed by Baylor last season.
Likewise if we were so lopsided in the number of passes then we must be at the top of the Rushing Attempts list... No cigar. LSU was 45th in attempts, 30th in rushing yards, and 10th in TD's.
Overall LSU ran the ball 523 times and passed it 326 times.

Is there a single team in college football right now that has the NFL talent at QB and WR that we had last year? With the experience at QB?

Exactly.... I really believe this staff is completely backwards sometimes. 3rd and 3 and 3rd and 4 we should run the ball or pass to a back over the middle like the OM game but instead we took shots that weren't there. Should if just ran the ball there to keep driving. There isn't any set up plays and we need em bad. They also go away from what is working a lot of times and I don't get it. Should if called a time out on that long pass play that looked like he could of trapped it but no Time out was called. Also why squib kick when our kicker can kick it into the end zone half the time, they could have fumbled there?? Just a bad coaching job to finish the game and on 3rd downs too!!! Terrible and this has to change. I'm so tired of seeing them do things backwards. LSU needs to practice soecialty drills more and teach field awareness as a priority. Could have punched the ball out a couple times when we were running up from behind to make a tackle but they just jump on their backs. Idk we need someone hired just to clean up little mistakes and to teach focus on the field. How to adjust while on the fly!!!

Exactly my point...Everyone knew Mett had NFL talent...but if we dont have an NFL QB does that mean we have to abandon the passing game? Coaches dont allow them to do anything and dont put them in positions to succeed. No shite they arent gonna have a high success rate converting 3rd and 8's ..the key is dont get in to that down and distance by throwing before that and keeping the d off balance.

Speaking of misleading stats....LSU wasnt higher in rushing attempts simplybecause they dont run a lot of offensive plays cause they are very slow tempo. But their ratio of run to pass is riridiculously high in favor of run.

You also forget that Mett did not survive the entire season either...

The only game he missed was the bowl game...I dont think one game was going to sway the ratio much.
