Mwani will be a key piece defensively in a back court full of 6’0” - 6’1” guys

Not sure what you are looking at.. Justice is the only one listed at 6'0. The others are listed at 6'2 and 6'3

Hill- 6-0
Hannibal- 6-2
Hayes- 6-3
Williams- 6-3
Miller- 6-3

We’re not small in the backcourt, dunno where this is coming from.

Although I mostly agree With the premise that depth and experience look good… Especially for a first year coach. The Tigers are not laying down anytime soon… I will say though that NO ONE in college basketball goes 10 deep… If by SEC play you have seven contributors…. Guys that can actually play … you are doing EXTREMELY WELL. Eight guys is a God send.
I hope the All conference demon kid can play at the SEC level consistently… If so he and K.J. Williams will be strong. Looks like there is depth at the guard position that was sorely missing last year with plenty of experience.
Can ONE of the freshman hit?? Think Colbert last year… Long, rangy,… Never sees the floor.
Mwani and Miller returning YUGE.

My biggest?… Who is going to put the ball in the hole? Adam Miller… We hope and we think… K.J. Williams? We’ll see… Have to have some guys that can score of the basketball

I think this is gonna be one of those teams that the minutes are gonna be spread fairly evenly among 8-10 guys..so who starts won’t be that important

Other than Juice, all the guards are listed at 6-2 or 6-3. Ward could even play some 2 at times, and he is 6-7. Ward is a special talent IMO.

If LSU had a couple of sub 6-0 guards on the court at the same time I would be concerned.

Having 3 players who’ve been in the system and played a lot of minutes together for this coach should give us continuity and good flow with the offense.

I think this team will finish in the upper half of the SEC. I really do.

One other comment on guard concerns. Defensively, Miller was known as being the best...and most physical defender on the team last year.

Wade reportedly had to tell him to back off and take it easy at practice. Hopefully he will be a slightly better replacement for Murray.

Defensively fans are gonna love Hannibal. 6-2, 217lbs, not the same kind of athlete Gaines was but gives you the same hyper aggressiveness and tenacity on defense.

Btw I agree, I think we’re fighting for a tourney slot this year as the floor for this team.

We still have another spot left I think. We get another big that is the obvious starter and I think we can be really tough.

What about a reclassification for the 7 footer he just offered? Today is the end of the signing period so besides something like that how do we fill the last spot?

Mwani has the ability to go to the rim with authority. If we’re comparing him to recent LSU players, I would go Marlon Taylor before Mays.

So they are all really 6’0” & 6’1”

They are all small with no prototypical SGs. Which can be fine but we will see

What are you basing your measurements off of? Is Darius Days 6-3? Is Tari Eason 6-4? Every player we’ve put out recently was no more than 1 inch difference than we listed them, most were accurately listed.

Don’t deflect and project, where are you getting this info that everyone is 2 or 3 inches shorter than listed?

Tremont Waters- 5-10 listed at 5-11 for LSU

Skylar Mays- 6-4 listed at 6-4 for LSU

Naz Reid- 6-9 listed at 6-10 for LSU

Javonte Smart- 6-4 listed at 6-4 for LSU

Cam Thomas- 6-4 listed at 6-4 for LSU

Seems like not only are you lying about your 2-3 inch height differential but your smears against me are also a lie. Typical lying Lester

Threw in Smarts official NBA bio page just in case you tried to discredit sports reference even though they go by the NBAs new official height measurements. I know you like to lie but that’s what proof looks like Les, something you can’t show.
