My 2 cents after watching game again

Defense was great for 59 mins but blew it in the last min.....on bama first pass we had db in position to tackle in bounds and receiver stiff arms him to ground and runs out bounds....the third down, db comes in on unblocked blitz and completely misses Blake, he then runs for first and out of bounds....then another stiff arm in the next series.....couple of tackles in bounds and game over

Agreed.
I will say, even though Sims isn't one of the better QBs in the league, he has command of that offense and he showed poise. Something I didn't think he could do in that situation.

We needed one play, they needed no mistakes. Gutted thinking about it.

If we get that sack....its 4 down and roughly 14-20 for 1st with clock runnin at 30 secs....db had no one in front, he just completely missed the tackle....that one play changes outcome

We completely dominated the second half. To lose in that fashion is something that will take some healing time.

We do this again and again on blitzes. Either run right into a blocker or whiff on the QB.

Yeah I hope these young men can put it behind them and not let this define the rest of the season. Hell I'm nearly 50 and don't play and am having trouble coping.

If you are being honest, the defense was great for the time Beckwith was in the game beside the last 50 seconds., and our passing game with awful , and the dropped passes hurt us.

The prevent D and the packing of a passing game killed us Saturday. Both of these things have been issues before.

Stahp with the prevent D meme. It wasn't a prevent.
It's designed to allow short passes and then tackle them inbounds. This whole thread is about the 2 to 3 missed chances to do that.

Alabama has one first down in the 2nd half before the last drive. It was just like the 2nd half in 2012. AJ was 1/7 for -1 yards or something like that before the last drive.

that was mills. dude ran in full speed and didnt break down. could have been the play to cost us the game. Just adds to the reason mills isn't one of my favorites.

Looking at picture - see how far defenders are playing off the recievers. 3rd and 4 and they r 7 to 10 yds off the recievers . Changing up what had worked all night was a coaching mistake with 50 seconds in the game

A critical play was the dropped pass on LSU's first play in OT. He was trying to make a play -- happens to the very best -- Cooper did the same thing.
There's no other program I respect more tha LSU and Coach Miles. I pull for the Tigers every game except one.

Almost a rerun of that 11/2012 game. I felt deja vu... in a horrible way.
