He is a load to handle and has been amazing this season. IMO the MVP of the defense.

He fought back from his adversity and did what he needed to do to get on the field. He will be a big part of the upcoming weeks. Pretty much every team we play from here have great rushing attacks.

Ika is a beast himself. He's going to be an absolute stud for us innthe future. He's unblockable at times and have seen him just simply shove opposing linemen into the backfield and frick their entire play up from the jump. I'm telling you ika is going to be a fricking weapon.

Just watch him when he’s in. Dude destroys o-linemen regularly. Won’t show up in the stat sheet but he dominates the LOS and is incredibly disruptive

I was watching him destroy people in the A&M game as I posted this thread

He was a monster in high school and I was excited for LSU to get him but he traded the weight room for the putonweight room and sat the bench for 2 years.
I have to agree that he’s turnt it around. He’s big and quick again. He’s a big part of our success

Tyler Shelvin epitomizes the term "wrecking ball"

Ika may be even better as he grows

Him smashing into the opposing punters protection some fun to watch.

Before the season started I thought our nose tackles would be the strength of our defense. They are both extremely talented and seem to have that mean streak.

Not sure what his 2020 draft projections are, but I have no doubt if Shelvin comes back next year, he will dominate opposing lineman and create havoc like Glenn Dorsey and Ndamukong Suh. TS has the potential to win the Outland and Nagurski while being a 1st rd draft pick in 2021.

Next year is his money year. I surely hope he doesn't sell out and leave.

Georgia will not run up the middle with him there. I don't care how good their O line is. Shelvin eats up blockers.
I think they will attack with Swift going wide or delays.

Shelvin, Lawrence, Chaisson and Fulton have been warriors. I would add Delpit, but he’s been banged up so much that he’s been ineffective a lot.

Lawrence seems to have finally gotten healthy (or as healthy as he can get) and really turned it on lately, and the other guys have had really good seasons. But I agree Shelvin is without question the defensive MVP of this team. There were stretches of the season where we had hobbled DEs basically not doing much more than standing there taking up space, and Shelvin was the only guy we had getting any sort of penetration. From the nose with no effective DEs beside him. I’m really afraid he’s gonna bolt to the league.
