MSU was looking for WR screens, flares to the RB, and other "safe" passes

They pretty much had those diagnosed. When we did throw the ball downfield, we were successful. Defenses will continue challenging Harris to make vertical passes until he proves he can consistently complete them. I think he'll be up to the challenge.

I think he did consistently complete them. Including the one to Dupre. We'll see more of the same with slightly higher ratio of passes:runs against Auburn, I'm guessing.

I wonder if the coaches and players are now thinking about Auburn. I know I am, maybe y'all should too.

Don't think it will be any different from what we saw last Saturday. Play it safe and close to the vest, try to win the game in the last few seconds!

A lot of those plays if run right, generally work and can turn into some big gains. Execution is the key and one missed block can doom that kind of play. Those are plays that will work better the more they run them but knowing Les they have already been removed from the playbook. Saints run them all the time.
