Never argued a thing. I simply made a statement about our pitching and many of you (like always) took it as extremely offensive. Once again, not surprised. This is a snowflake board. I just enjoy seeing how worked up most of you get when an opposing fan makes an innocent post. shite, I would know more about our team than any of you.

well given there is a school in Baton Rouge called Southern University and you are on a message board for a school located in the same city, maybe clarify your posts. I actually had to go to your schedule and see when y'all played Southern University before I realized you were referring to Southern Miss.

The topic was about our regional...the poster was talking about how he was informed about how MSU did in our regional, yet did not even have the capacity to know that we played Southern Miss when I mentioned "Southern". This is the epitome of ignorance.
ETA: his assumption had nothing to do with Southern University. He stated "Jags" as in South Alabama, but was too dense to know that we actually played USM. Downvote if you understand this simple logic.

the original post of yours was directed at me. I said you have no third starter (you don't), and you responded with "Our 3rd starter threw a 1 run CG agaisnt Southern." Then the rest of the people said things like "well yeah, the Jags (Southern University Jaguars) suck." It's opk to admit that your post would probably be confusing to people who aren't from Mississippi and didn't know what team you were referring to.

oddly enough Southern University also has the same mascot (Jaguars), so no, he wasn't referring to South Alabama. I can assure you that when someone refers to a school called Southern on this message board people are going to think you're talking about a SWAC school

Yeah I'm from Hattiesburg and never heard it referred to as Southern. I thought the Louisiana school as well. USM for short.

Southern Miss and Baton Rouge Super is Totally completely different. Y'all were probably 50/50 there and that will NOT be the case Sat and Sun!

I knew State would win that series because they want LSU that bad but as soon as Lange starts throwing heat and we put the pressure on they will fold again. This team is just different now and have lots of confidence which is huge in baseball. I know LSU isn't scared but of course they respect everyone they play, doesn't mean they will take it easy this weekend. LSU is going to be ready and it will take everything MS has to beat them this weekend which I don't think they have enough to do. Will be a great series though.

Hopefully Lange can settle down and find his groove early. I have a feeling MSU will be super aggressive at the plate and on the bases early.

Atleast you understood I was talking about USM given that the context of our discussion about State's regional, and not interjecting and makin assumptions like the other poster who claims to know what we were talking about without regard to the context of my post.
Now about the super. I think if State wants any chance of winning, it is imperative that we take game 1. That seems to be the common belief around here and Starkville. I think the lack of depth hurts us and LSU takes it on Monday. Here's to an injury free series and teams without sexual predators on them (looking at you Oregon St.)
