6" of snow and about 10-15 inches of rain since the season started plus tarp will do that. I think they already cut it all up and re-sodded the infield recently.

Looks like Alex Box in 2006. I guess the grass dies when the team sucks.

Have none of you been to the Box this year? There are brown patches in the infield, not as bad as this, but still...

The Box was bad in 2006. A fungus took over and killed a bunch of grass. It fit in well with the atmosphere of Smoke killing the program.
