I wonder if they will pitch to Deichmann this time around.

It is really remarkable state won four games in two days as depleted as their pitching seems to be.

We need to be ready. MSU will come in pumped up after winning that regional.

This makes me nervous. It is tough to beat any team 5 times in one season much less a top 25 sec team with the most dangerous hitter in the country. Should be a hell of a ride, already ready to ice down the beer!

USM was up by two when I turned it on in the 7th, then the wheels came off, and they lost by two.

Center fielder had a simple fly ball hit in his glove, then fall out like he was a t-ball player. (Granted, it had been raining heavily.)

At one point there was HBP, walk, HBP, then a short, easy popup by Rooker to shallow right field. THREE USM players stood under it and watched it plop into the mud at their feet. 2 runs scored.

The Golden Eagles gave it away in those last three innings.

MSU must have their Equipment Managers dressed out to pitch.

Good. Their pitching depth is trash and if they decide to walk Deichmann we have something for them.

Per Kendall Rogers:

For those wondering, the super regional schedule with days and times will be announced at 8 AM ET Tuesday morning. So, go to bed!

While I do understand the sentiment to an extent, the flip side of this is that you're asking a decent team with a depleted pitching staff in MSU to beat a better team in LSU twice on the road. That makes me less nervous about the matter.

This LSU team is ready and focused this postseason, excluding the Texas Southern game.

Good thing we only have to win 2 of 3 then.

Anyways is this actually true or is this one of those sports sayings people like to say?

I would imagine history shows the team that swept the other does better in a 3 game series.
