Most glaring improvement Daniels made this season (stats showcased)

2022:
266 of 388 for 2913 yards 7.5 avg
2023:
236 of 327 for 3812 yards 11.7
Jayden really developed in throwing the ball downfield, and to add to it, increased his completion pct. Incredible really looking at these numbers.

Per PFF, Jayden Daniels was the most accurate passer in throws more than 20 yards downfield. In the history of PFF.

It felt like he was decent at throwing the ball down field last year, on the rare occasions he did it. He just for whatever reason refused to do it...
Props to him and the coaches for unlocking that in his mind because it opened up so much more of the offense. Late in the year, specifically A&M and Arkansas, just sat back rushing 3 and dropping 8 into zone. And those 8 didn't even need to worry about the deep ball. It made every short and intermediate pass tougher to defend, and it took away alot of jaydens running ability.
