Just read it. Nice summary.

You should have asked what is the most memorable play since you been a fan.

But a play that in your opinion electrified TS like no other
All I was going for. I knew that play would be brought up, rather quickly, and with much passion. That just isn't may favorite for reasons I've stated.
It's ok, fred.

Mathieu's punt return vs. Arky will always be a personal favorite; I was in Tiger Band and we were getting ready for halftime, so I got to watch that play from the field.
I had just come up to the NEZ from the concourse with a couple of large cokes in my hands. I looked down the field and saw the hole open up like the parting of the Red Sea. I knew immediately Honey Badger was going all the way. I was lucky the cokes made it.

Thanks. I will admit that it definitely fell in the "tldr" category.
Each day I find it harder to come to grips with how old I am getting....it is hard to wrap my head around the fact that the Earthquake Game was 30 years ago and that a lot of the posters on this board literally were not alive when that game was played. I am now the "back in the day" guy, so I feel a responsibility to try to preserve history and re-tell the stories for the young whipper-snappers out there. The Earthquake game is to me what the Billy Cannon punt return was to my parents generation, I suppose.
I guess I can handle being "back in the day" guy....as long as I don't turn into "get off my lawn" guy....

I was fortunate enough to be present for that one.
The guy in the purple and gold cow outfit used to post here and tell his stories about the experience. Anyone heard from him lately??

Tiger Stadium sure looks different.

The blocked field goal at the end of regulation in 2008 against Bama was pretty awesome
+100
I couldn't hear either of my friends yelling on each side of me, and that was up in the east upper deck. The elation was absolutely deafening.
I'd also give a vote for the 49-yd winning TD pass from Anthony Jennings to Dural to conclude 2013 v/s Arkansas. Mettenberger got hurt in the 4th quarter, and Jennings saved the day.
The game-ending TD pass from Flynn to Byrd has to be the winner though. I wasn't there, but I wish I had been.

Such a great play, but also bitter considering that was the absolute best play we'd ever see out of Jennings. Ever.

That game was the payback game, but it was also a must see game. Everyone wanted to see if that team was for real. At the conclusion of that beat down, everyone knew LSU was a title contender.

Blame the guy who posted "blue grass miracle". I just took it and ran with it...

What does it for me is the "3 Stooges" imagery of the Tech defenders getting stiff-armed and tripping over themselves all along the visitor sideline. Oh yes, we're for real.

End of the Auburn game, 1995. I was 12 and hated Auburn with a passion you would not believe especially after watching us piss away what would have been a landmark upset win the year before. Twillie's INT is the only time I've ever cried tears of joy. I'm becoming a dad in October so maybe that will finally surpass it, but as of now 9/16/95 is the happiest day of my life.

1982 Florida State. Alan Risher rolls out the pocket hits Eric Martin 70 yard TD pass over the shoulder catch.

Jeremy Hill's long touchdown run to seal the game against South Carolina in 2012.
It was a top 10 match up at the time. That was the best LSU team I got to see as a student.
