End thread. Thanks for coming. Drive safely.

Probably the most embarassing loss that I saw in person was 2002 vs. Alabama in Tiger Stadium. The thing I remember most about that game was that I don't think I stood up or got excited at any point in that game. There was literally nothing to cheer about for LSU. The stadium was dead quiet

Most of the rantards weren't even born then. That's why so many list 1-9 because in their short memories it probably is the worst loss. They missed Tenn 05 because LSU was ahead when their mommies put them to bed that Monday night.

So condemn everyone who was born a generation after you, I guess.
Everyone has their opinion of which loss stung them the most. In my 23 years, I'd still pick the most recent loss over the others based on the implications of the game.
Yeah, losing to UT like we did in 05 sucked, but it didn't keep us out of the SECCG.
Losing to UAB sucked in 2000, but that team had no hopes for an SEC title.
However, I'm not here to tell people what to think. All I am saying is that you need to understand why most of our fan base agrees 1/9 was so embarrassing.

The amount of questions that still remain unanswered about that game, and probably always will, still bedazzle me.
This is why I still can't quite let it go. I've found that a lot of our fans feel the same way.
It wasn't that we lost, it was how we did it, and the rumors that still swirl around to this day about what may or may not have happened behind the scenes.

The way we lost was absolutely embarrassing. I really think you forgot how hard that game was to even watch.
I was there and stayed til the end. It's etched into my memory.
Still not as bad as losing to UAB at Death Valley.

Miserable game. Not just the way we lost, but it was so hot and humid I think everyone's clothes were soaking wet when we left that game.

So simply because it was the NCG and we didn't play Lee it's your opinion that 1-9 was more embarassing than losing in Auburn by throwing 3(three) pick 6's. When the coaching staff should have been running the ball and milking the clock with a 23-9 4th Qtr. lead and a stifling defense. I disagree but to each his own. I can think of many games during the Archer,Hallman,Dinardo years that were more embarassing.

This certainly isn't the most embarrassing loss either. SEC competition, new coaching staff, fricking Katrina...

How many people are convinced that it should be Troy in 2008 because they left in the 3rd quarter?

I agree I was too concerned about what this new staff had done to our defense to be embarassed.
Probably the reason most people are more embarassed about the 1-9 loss is the use of chat boards and other social media and a month of talking smack only to have your team lay an egg.

UGA in 2008 I believe when Lee throws a pick six the first play of the game

Are you retarded? Our absolute most hated rival against our former coach, Undefeated season, national championship game. And we are handed the worst loss in bcs history.
We didn't even cross the 50!!
Humiliating.

1982 Tulane
LSU highly ranked, second in SEC (to Georgia) and headed to Orange Bowl.
Game in Tiger Stadium (first win for Tulane there since 1948).
