All the heights and weights for incoming freshman are directly from the rivals database.

well, you were responding to thunderbird when he said so
quote:

LSU officially (for the roster)
the official roster is what's on lsusports.net

ETA: either way you are twisting what thunderbird was referring to. He was referring to lsusports and how they don't have updated height and weights for the freshman but instead took those numbers from rivals.

and why the hostility; of course, they've been weighed in and measured that's the first thing all schools do and they do it quite often throughout the summer and fall.

I met Morris at his last playoff game...175-180 would be accurate at that time. He had a lanky(sp) frame but long arms. I work with his old coach.

I don't know if you noticed but I agreed with you. And went on to agree with thunderbird when he said that the freshman don't have official height and weights for the roster.

if brooks is 5-10ish, 180 isn't that bad

i'd hate to see him get to 195-200 and lose his explosiveness. his "plus" is his explosiveness

Brooks doesn't need to gain that much weight. right now he's the strongest lb for lb guy on the team, i know he squats over 500. his strength is what helps him play safety despite his size, and his speed of course.

Remember that Chad Jones guy. He could be considered this, but I think Brooks is also a badass. These two in the defensive backfield may not be fair.

From what I am hearing it is Chad Jones with Brooks/Hatcher splitting time with the first team right now in drills. Brooks seems to have a slight lead right now. He also said that there is so much talent in the defensive backfield that there will probably be a lot of substitutions through out the game. Just heard this Saturday.

Nobody has been measured/weighed in yet for 2009, and none of the freshman have EVER been checked in by LSU officially (for the roster). The heights/weights listed for the (incoming) freshman are just from recruiting services.

Could you list which recruiting service has incming Freshman DE Sam Montgomery at 6'5" 260 lbs? Thanks
