a friend of mine in dallas has gotten a couple of suites for cowboys games and just got this txt from the guy who sells them offering 18 tickets for the suite...TIFWIW but the promoter knows my buddy is an LSU fan and that's why he offered...all signs are pointing toward it so why not just announce it?

Maybe since Cap One technically gets to pick before cotton it would be stepping on their toes?

From what i saw on some other threads, student tickets are $140 a piece, including various fees.

The AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic is making a ground-breaking move in 2011. We will celebrate our 75th anniversary under the lights on Friday night. The Classic is moving to primetime. This year’s game will kick off on Friday, January 7th at 7 p.m. The national spotlight has never been brighter, and we look forward to you being with us for our special celebration.

Prices are $200 for club seats and $125 for reserved seats.

Hmm. I've never been on a road trip before nor a bowl game. I'm really interested in going to this though.

I think LSU-A&M will have a much better atmosphere than LSU-Oregon.

LSU-Oregon will certainly be interesting as it's the marquee game first weekend, but I have a feeling the atmosphere for LSU-A&M is gonna be off the hook.

That said, go to both games. I'll certainly be going to both games....you've got all offseason to plan for the season opener.

Yeah I see what you're. Being A&M is an old time rival I think it'd be a lot of fun!

The Aggie fanbase is pumped. We've been dying for a good team and finally got one. We set the record at Kyle Field just 2 weeks ago for attendance (at Kyle) and # of students (in any college fb game ever).

I could be wrong, but if LSU agrees to the Cotton Bowl beforehand it doesn't matter.

I think it is great that the game is moving to prime time. Great move on their part. This would be a really good game. Hope it happens.
