another thing LSU baseball fans are a different breed of fans then LSU football fans.
the crap you see on this board most of the time I believe are football fans who enjoy watching baseball in the off season.
those people have two seasons
football regular season and football off season. Baseball and basketball pass the time.
True Loyal baseball fans, IMO are the best fans in the country, the ones who clap for great plays, good outings by pitchers, let a 4 seed stoney brook have a victory lap, etc. Its the I only care about football and watch baseball in football's offseason who complain about all of that. All my opinion but I suspect its pretty accurate.
For me its
Football season
when that ends my focus shifts to basketball
when baseball starts (just because basketball isn't nearly as important to me as baseball) my focus shifts to that.
I kinda pay attention to the spring game and recruiting but my focus is totally on LSU baseball during the spring, and totally on LSU football during the fall.
I don't think most rantards are this way. Only the ones like Rabit, Astro, Dro, Adam, etc. are like that.

The right fans travel. LSU does have the best baseball fans in the NCAA. This site has many trolls and many bandwagon fans. But the die hard spend the money to travel and watch the team to the end. It sucks but they had a great year that came up short. They can make a run next year. We lose some pieces but LSU recruits well. Nola is still there, Bregman is still there. Both got national attention this year. Two good pieces to build around. A solid #2 pitcher puts this team in position to take two of three on weekends again. Plenty to look forwar to, hope this drives the ones returning even more.
