Gotta love the idiots. Found this VERY UNBIASED (ha ha ha ha ha) yesterday looking for something I had posted about Kirby.

https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/lsu-sports/an-attempted-unbiased-analysis-of-kirby-smart-and-ed-orgeron-in-their-first-2-years/76551617/

A very small recap:

Kirby:
quote:

He finished the year off with a bowl win over TCU and the #3 recruiting class behind only Alabama and Ohio State. Kirby lost 1 game by 3 points and 2 games by 1 point; he was 5 points from going 11-2 his first season.

So, to summize, Smart nearly went undefeated, came very close to winning a national championship, and recruited one of the top classes in the modern era of recruiting in 2 full years on Georgia's staff.

Eaux:
quote:

Orgeron finished 6-2 defeating only 1 ranked opponent for the rest of the season; that opponent being physically overmatched and overrated Louisville team in the bowl game. LSU finished with the #7 class that year, a bit of a slide from previous years

Orgeron finished 9-4, defeating only 1 team (Auburn) who finished the season ranked in the top 25. LSU also had a 30 point embarrassing loss to a less-talented Mississippi State team. LSU also suffered possibly the most embarrassing loss in the history of the program with a homecoming loss to Troy; a team that LSU should have beaten by 40 points

Orgeron managed this while having the best Defensive Coordinator in all of College Football on his staff for both seasons

quote:

Conclusion Georgia: Their AD had the vision and follow-through to conduct an extensive coaching search and land what seems to be a home-run hire,

They knew they weren’t a mediocre program and didn’t accept mediocrity from their leadership. As a result, their roster is absolutely loaded and they will be playing for more titles.

quote:

Conclusion LSU: Fans are at a low point for confidence in the direction of the program and many view an unexplained hasty decision by Joe Alleva,

Recruiting is still a question-mark and fans are unsure about the direction of the program. Saban showed us, as LSU fans what we could be. Miles solidified and built upon that success and made LSU a force in not only the SEC but in the country.

LSU's AD had an opportunity to re-establish LSU as a national football power, but many fans view this hire as an epic failure.

Attempt at an unbiased comparison? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!!

It is easy to see why the "GREAT ONE" smashed LSU this past Saturday.

I remember RickDaddy always saying votes mean nothing if you don't see who is voting. I would love to see who were the huge amount of voters in that thread.

Post by Frozen:
Sadly, LSU hired someone who will never be a good coach, and never compete for championships. He just isn't that type of coach.

With all due respect, you can't conclude that O is a better coach than Smart based on the outcome of one meeting between the two. Last year, Smart did win his SEC division, the SEC, and a national semi-final. He came within a hair's breadth of winning the NC in overtime. O hasn't done any of those things. Smart also brought in higher rated recruiting classes than O

If you are going to judge coaches based on isolated performances, you would also have to concede that Mullen and the Troy coach are superior to O.

All of this.

No question that O and Co. coached circles around Smart and Co. on Saturday. But it doesn't really take away from what Smart has been able to accomplish to date or the fact that O has never accomplished anything close to that ... YET.

If you bring this type of logic to Ree he will stomp his feet and call you a fake fan.

Your post is solid though.

I didn't see that claim anywhere in his post. Are you deliberately missing the point? I think he was simply pointing out the dumbassery and obvious bias in the thread

I don’t trust Alleva

But I like where we are in recruiting. O has done a good job there. Adding some guys on the D line down the stretch will be important but it’s a very good class

Yep, the guy had a great post. Just didn't have anything to do with the thread.

I am just laughing at the "unbiased" post by the OP in the link.

Kirby's first year he goes 8-5. Loses to Florida (which is great by the OP since UF won the SEC East), Vanderbilt and gets blown out by Ole Miss. According to the OP of the link this was the greatest coaching job ever.

Eaux's first year he goes 9-4 in the SEC West. According to the OP everyone was overrated including #13 Louisville with the Heisman winning QB in the bowl game. He deems this a huge failure.

Among all the other shite he typed that was purely biased opinion. Very funny when you look at that thread now. Just shows the mindset of the idiots of the board.

I'm a pretty big deal, but I don't think I have that kind of pull with the SEC home office. Sorry!

Do you see me starting threads saying they are unbiased? Have you ever seen me say I was unbiased, EVER?

If someone says they are attempting to be unbiased and then makes a totally biased post, I will laugh at them.

This isn't about me. It is about the extremely "unbiased" poster in the link.

But, You can get your very own fan-boy t-shirt for a small phenomenal fee.

O didn’t play Louisville in his 9-4 season.

and calling those 9 wins less than amazing isn’t being biased.
6 of those 9 wins were against teams that finished the year with a losing record, plus an additional win against a team that finished dead at .500.

Questions...

1. So, you're claiming that 99.9% of your posts aren't biased, or are you just being a hypocrite?

2. If, for some reason, LSU should crap the bed before the end of the year and lose 2-3 games, while UGA goes on a run and makes the playoffs, are you willing to come back and accept the fact that you were equally wrong in your projections?

I hope LSU runs the damn table and O proves everyone wrong, but people call you out on damn near every one of your posts for being a 'Yes' man, and while I generally don't give it the time of day, you really do make it extremely obvious.

What projections would those be? Can you point my projections out to me? thanks !!!

Some people do not like LSU and seeing good news about the program and coaches. It happens.

Click my username and then "all topics" and let me know which threads I have started that you disagree with and makes it extremely obvious. thanks again !!!
