Personally Ole Miss was bigger to me because they were undefeated and I wanted payback for that long ride home I had from Oxford last year after we lost

To me this week has a "calm before the storm" feel to it. I think the rumblings will start after the new poll is released.

I think there is more tension for this game.

If you're a sunshine and roses LSU fan, you probably still can't deny that Bama has had our number the last three games (even though we should have had 2012 damn it).

If you're a doom and gloom LSU fan, you've been wrong three weeks in a row and you don't want to look like a total tool even if you would be right this time.

I think more fans really believed we could compete with and defeat Ole Miss. I think a lot of people are hoping that we will beat Bama - but I don't think the confidence is at the same level.

No question that this victory will mean more than any in a long while in my opinion.

It is time that we turn the tide - and kick their arse!

Ehhhhh this game is huge. With what Bama has accomplished at the expense of LSU both on the field and in recruiting the past almost 3 years is pretty significant. This team isn't in the national title hunt but that doesn't nulify this game from anything. This will be the largest crowd in Tiger Stadium history and could very well end up being the loudest. Can't fricking wait.

There is no bigger game than this one, and next week, there will be no bigger game than that one.

Maybe that feeling is what I'm picking up on. Though I may regret saying this, I just don't think Bama is as good as usual. Just like the Ole Miss game LSU needs to play their best game.

Our "fans" are only allowed one staying to the end, not leaving at halftime, getting off your fat arse and cheering performance a year. They are to busy working on their traffic whines to get excited for the game.
