I can't wait to read this boards reaction after Georgia beats the brakes off the bulldogs! At this point I'm hoping that the Bulldogs are for real and go on to win the ship, because I don't want to believe that Lsu can seriously be the team that we saw last week.

Right now I'm rolling my eyes and doing the "jerk off" motion in front of everyone in my office.

Don't even care.

I hope state wins so I can feel a little better about last week.

If UGA blows them out I might join the melters haha.

This is an interesting game to be honest. Is State for real? Did they just get really really high for the LSU game and now come back down to earth? Going to Georgia is a dangerous place to be if you're going to have a let down game.

With all that being said, I think Miss State is for real as is Fitzgerald and their defense. State 42 Georgia 17

You can get your squad up maybe 3 times in any one season. I don't think Mississippi State is as good as they showed last week and they are certainly due for a let down.

Pretty bold prediction! I see that same score but in Georgia's favor. What is interesting to me is that Georgia has a true freshman QB lighting it up , but at Lsu our reasoning is always that they are not ready. There are plenty of freshman QB's that excel actually.

I'm in no way blaming Etling for the loss last week , but I just don't think he has the skill set to achieve any substantial success. We need a QB that can make gains when the protection breaks down , and that is not Etling.

I agree with this. Miss St was as jacked to play as theyve been in a long, long time. It'll be interesting to see if they come out flat, its hard to get refocused after what they pulled off last weekend.

This is a great early season match-up. I have no real good reason to think UGA will take this one, but I think they will. it's a home game for UGA and Miss. St. won't be as good as last week.

Etling isn't a gamechanger. If you give him a good OLINE and a solid running game. He will perform well.

Etling was like 10-13 when not under pressure and 3-16 when under pressure. Something close to those numbers. I'm not knocking him either but this has been his pattern now in every game. It won't change so we have already burned Brennan's redshirt so why not play him?

Exactly my point. It's as if the Jarrett Lee debacle will forever be the measuring stick of this program. If they already know that Etling doesn't have the skill set to succeed then let Brennan take a shot. I am certainly not under the delusion that Lsu is about to win the next 10 games after what I saw.

We all know Etling is not the guy that is going to put the team on his shoulders and carry the team to victory.

However, with the way the Oline was performing last week, I think Etling was probably our best option.

And his passing stats do not reflect catchable balls that receivers should have grabbed...

I'm pulling for them but yes we need them to lose.

I thought State was a lot better than many before the game but no way they are that much better than the Tigers, they were jacked! Won't surprise me if they lose this.
