The fearsome Mississippi State defense gave up 343 yards in the first 3 quarters to LA Tech.

The actual game net is skewed thanks to an unforced error that turned into an 87 yard loss.

ETA: forgot to mention the nearly 2:1 TOP advantage Tech had.

Don't be surprised when these dogs roll over.

They have a future first rounder at DT and a good safety and LB

No kind of shootout is happening. We will control the clock. They will try the same except no scoring. Then oh shite mode when we are up 20+ to 0

It take 11 players to field a defensive unit - not 3

There will be no shootouts in 2017 with LSU's defense.

all I know is that state plays us close every year and it's because of their defense. and they are supposed to have a better D this year than last year, esp their Dline.

yes, we usually win but they are a tough out and we had better not give the game away like we did against florida last year.

They improve on D, we improve on O. It's a wash. We win this one, but due to the fact that we are essentially unproven at this point, I am leery of it.

State's best team ever, the Jackie Sherrill team that went to ATL in '98 lost to a poor LSU team 41-6.

Moo has played Les close when he decided not to salt their earth. Coach O will relish the sight of filthy smoke rising from the ashes of that poor little cow town.

I don't expect one. I'm thinking it will look a lot like the BYU game.

If LSU wins everyone will say they were over rated. Lose and they are a really good team. Fact of the matter is, MSU is a mid teir SEC team. When we beat them I think it will prove that we have a solid team. If we go into the Bama game undefeated it will show we have a damn strong team.
