Lee NEVER got the chance to get into any kind of a decent rhythm.

The 23 passes he threw in the game against Tenn was the second highest (passes in a game) of the season. 185 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT.

Forget about that game? Lee wasn't anything special.. neither was Jefferson.

That's not an answer at all. We knew Crowton was pretty much a goner long before the bowl game

That's not what the majority of this board was saying.

So because we were in a bowl and Texas wasn't, we missed on a top notch candidate. Awesome

you sound like one of those buffoons that proclaimed Urban Meyers gimmick offense would never work in the SEC, and Gus Malzahn's gimmick high school offense would never work in

I said that. Urbs had to put in the pro set for Leak, and post tebow, UF was ranked about 100th in offense and urbz had to quit.

Cam Newton is another once in a lifetime talent . Let's see how it works out post scam.

Perhaps not, but anyone paying attention to what was said by both the coach and the AD in their 09 season wrap ups should have had a good idea the GC was gone if the offensive numbers/rankings/performance remained the same in
10 as they were in 09.

Not laying all the blame on GR, but its just the way of the world in big time college football.

It was only a matter of time before a change was coming at the OC spot.

As has been the case in a few of these situtations, some of us couldn't hold our water long enough to let things play out.

Thanks LSU Dad. I'm stuck here in Boise Idaho (beautiful place but not for football) during the fall listenting to the absolute most myopic smurfturf fans complain how the big boys are scared to play them and they get no respect. They don't want to hear about their lousy D-2 schedule and listen way too much to Kirk Herbstreet.

who should have gotten PT over JJ and Hebert?

Just because JJ wasn't good doesn't mean Lee would have been better.

Boise ain't a bad place to be "stuck". Just sayin you could be in uhhhhhh Jersey City. Idaho is one of the most beautiful states in the country. Now, I have to agree with ya on the smurf field.

Read my entire sentence windriver--I say STUCK IN THE FALL with FOOTBALL MYOPICS but it is a beautiful place. I lived in Cherry Hill as well so I know about Jersey. Spend some time with the Smurfturfers and you'd udnerstand

I guess you'll get a dose of Bronco Valley (they call themselves nation--what a joke) since they are now joining the WAC II. Have fun. Sorry Tiger fans for littering this board with WAC BS

Gimmick offense? You must not know much about football. Harsin runs a multiple pro-style offense.

True--but he ran a mult pro style offense against gimmick opponents in a gimmick conference that played gimmick or no defense. So what's your point tcoachmc? My point is he has no benchmark to establish credibility in big time college football---I wish him well. He's a good guy, but..
