Listening to Danny Kanell. This is the gist of what he said Miles told him in a recent discussion.

THAT IS THE PROBLEM. MILES DOES NOT UNDERSTAND HIS WEAKNESSES. HE IS CLUELESS.

He's clueless AND he's arrogant. A very dangerous combination.

What happened to Tubberville in his last year @Auburn when he switched from running a pro-style, under-center, double TE type of offense to bringing in that OC from Troy State and trying to run the cartoon-cutout play calls on the sideline with a hurry-up spread attack team? Fired mid-year.

There is no way, Miles is going to change his philosophy at this point in his career or midseason. If they hadn't put it during the offseason, it is never going to show up midseason. No clue why this surprises people.

I know the OP said as much, but to clarify further, these comments were before the season started.

Yes I referred to that in another post. Couldn't remember where I heard it, but it was last week. I knew when I heard that I knew we were screwed. I knew they hadn't worked on anything different his offseason. He really believes his offense will work the man is just clueless. It puts so much pressure on the QB to be perfect and the offensive line he can't see that though. The next few seasons are going to suck.

No, he's not. Your feeling this way is a symptom of your inferiority complex. It's like some guy who is forever thinking people are disrespecting him. He just has an inferiority complex.

Miles isn't arrogant, nor is he spitting in anyone's face. He's trying his best as he sees best. If it's not good enough let's fire him, but let's do it in a classy way.

Hanigriff said this is the problem with Miles. He doesn't see that the way he does things as the issue. He thinks he fixes it not changing schemes but by executing better. He is done. Its only a matter of time.

He clearly doesn't get it. I like coach Miles but this is disturbing and very telling of what the problems are on this team. He thinks he is doing everything right and the players just aren't executing. He may prove us all wrong but this looks like the same story different chapter!

His classy exit was at the end of the TexAgg game last year.
SMH at the amount of people here who haven't figured out it wasn't LSU that leaked everything last year.

When your passing offense relies upon "throwing it up towards the tall guy" for half the passing plays, there is no way to do it better. You're either good at it or not. And we aren't. Harris makes poor throws and Dupre isn't a guy who goes up and gets it well.

Harris is just not a winner. Athletically gifted - sure. But when push comes to shove, he's not a winner. He doesn't want it on him. He wants Cam on the sideline to keep him calm. He panics and makes terrible decisions time and time again. And he doesn't learn and improve when he faces the same situation again.

I don't think Miles has gone into the season thinking, "you know what, I'm gonna piss some people off and be an a-hole".

I think he has the inability to distinguish the truth from the false. And because of that, he indirectly is spitting in the face of fans, Alleva, and the players - through his action of non-action.

I agree with letting him go in a classy way. Although, F King completely fricked that chance. After the Texas A&M game last year would have been perfect, with the way that whole thing went down. It was hamartia, by definition, to not go through with original plans to let him go.

I mean, who are we kidding? We knew it was coming, sooner or later.
