Where stately oaks and broad magnolias
shade inspiring halls,
There stands our dear Old Alma Mater
who to us recalls
Fond memories that waken in our hearts
a tender glow,
And make us happy for the love
that we have learned to know.
All hail to thee our Alma Mater,
molder of mankind,
May greater glory, love unending
be forever thine.
Our worth in life will be thy worth we pray to keep it true,
And may thy spirit live in us, forever L-S-U.

Good post. I hope he lands another good gig and plays LSU in the near future. Always have liked him and see him as a class act. He deserves a better send off than this.

I love Coach Miles but know it is time to move on. This sux in a way that is hard to explain. Kind of like a mutual agreement to divorce because it will never get better, but you still care about them. It is right, but sad.

Thanks for the memories, Les Miles!!! True class act. The program will be hard pressed to find a better man....(maybe a better coach, but not a better man).
