In ESPN article....see bold. What exactly is Master Yoda saying???

"If we don't turn the ball over or throw the ball on the ground and we protect our quarterback ... this thing looks like it's supposed to," Miles said. "I must not well have prepared them."

"To say that we made improvement, I can't say that," Miles said. "I'd have to say it was the same style of football that we played last week."

Team looked lost with their heads down and let an fcs team push them around

Mett not being allowed to interact with the team on the sidelines is kinda weird

looks like he's throwing himself under the bus for the players laying the ball on the ground, moving before the snap and such

Yes & yes....Florida game might get uglier than a fat OC in a t-shirt next week if this team doesn't get a pulse.

Sure hope he prepares them for Florida. I would like to see the intensity of the Washington game.

He wanted to say, "Well we did not prepare too much for this game because we play Florida next week and that is where our focus was. Being they have 2 weeks to prepare for us, we did not want to show them much."

I'd be interested to see his comments in 2008 when the defense played poorly. He knew changes were needed, but never bad mouthed anything.

I kinda think this is where he is with Kragthorpe and Stud right now. I think only Wilson returns on the O staff next year.

This. The failure of the Mallaveto and he never would admit it. Defended them to the end till he could find jobs for them. Nothing wrong with defending your employees but there comes a time when the buck stops with you and you have to man up.

We've been throwing off for 2 straight weeks! The lengths The Hat will go in order to sand bag opponents is epic! Dirk Diggler turns Terminator next week and throws for 350!

Or....we don't block anyone and get whipped.

And, in reality, the O staff may have said that what we did in 2008-2011 was because JJ/JL was all we had. So this was their season to prove otherwise and it just isn't there.

For recruiting look back, our starting OL last night was 3*, 5*, 3*, 3*, 4*. They've played a lot, but 64, 72, 74 aren't playing in the NFL. A majority 3* is what our DL looked like in 2008/2009.

He's trying to deflect the attention to himself, not to hurt the kids' mentality. Look what happen to Jefferson last season. He won't let that happen again.

Miles speaks nonsensical horseshite.

He's an arrogant, bullheaded, stubborn man who doesn't give two shits about what comes out of his mouth.

Going back to the BCSNC game, we have been prepared to start and play one game of the last six - Washington.

That is all on the head coach and his assistants.

We should have been up far enough against NTx, Idaho and Towson by half that Rivers got the 2nd half of those games. We wasted opportunities for QB development. Seems to be a consistent theme with Miles.

But as we all need to be reminded, we are 5 - 0 and Miles is the winningest coach ever at LSU.

Well he's either saying he didn't prep them well

or

It was so bad, he might as well not prepped them at all.

Personally I think they spent maybe 2 days on Towson and the other couple days on Florida.

Seems a lot of folk need to take the p&g glasses off to this. Great post btw.
