LSU throwing a pass to the State goal line in the last min of the game in an attempt to win the game doesn't not equate to LSU getting "blasted" in my book. If it does in yours, knock yourself out.

dude come on...they were knocking our diks in the dirt for 3 1/2 quarters.

Last I looked they still play 4 complete quarters in SEC football.

I mean, Japan and Germany were winning WWII for a lot of years.

You really think LSU hada chance in that game??? MSU to the foot off the gas and started playing NOT TO LOSE.[A BIG MISTAKE IMO]. BUT MSU DOMINATED LSU for 55 mins... Harris came in and was able to stand around in the pocket while MSU was rushing [3} and playing prevent...... MSU could have scored 50 that night if they wanted to... BOTTOM line is that MSU and AU smacked LSU in the mouth.. Not sure that Ole Miss won't do the same sat night... I hope I am wrong...BUT..........

And your point is?

Look, if you want to see a 5 pt. L as getting blasted, go ahead. No doubt State took us to the woodshed for 3 quarters of that game. There is also no doubt that LSU came back, for whatever the reason, in the 4th and was playing for the win in the final min.

I don't see that as an example of a team being blasted for the game, but each to our own.

Yeah. I think when you are throwing the ball towards the end zone on the last play where a touchdown would result in a win, that is pretty much the definition of having a chance.

Oh, so they didn't want to score more than 34. Dan said, "Hey guys, that's the perfect number. Stop scoring and start punting!".

Good thing he isn't making 5 million per year like Sumlin who gets shut out 59-0.

Wasn't he supposed to be the caretaker coach until Saban finally comes back to us?

Its a freaking football game played by 18-22 year-olds

Which is another reason one should not assume Ole Miss will play better than LSU.

I actually do agree with you that an Ole Miss win is the more likely scenario, but you're acting like it's written in stone.
