That's the ticket. Let's lose all perspective and give up on the most successful HC in LSU history cause a team playing 17 Fr. with almost all of our skill guys on O playing starting their 5th career SEC game don't come out "ready to play" vs. a experienced Top 3 in the nation team.

This is exactly the reason you should get upset with a head coach. I guess you're happy with getting blasted by other teams, but I expect the man that's making 4 million dollars a year to put those 17 freshman in a position to at least be competitive. He's already failed to do that twice this year.

"blasted by other teams"...You are going to refresh my memory cause I can only recall 2 games out of our last 4 & 1/2 years that I might equate to "getting blasted". I wasn't "happy" with either one, but I'm not ready to kick to the curb the most successful HC in LSU history cause of them either. I also don't see a 5 pt. L to a top ranked team as "blasted", but each to our own.
I have to ask, if 101-26 when competing in the SEC is not acceptable to you, what LSU football program have you been following in the last 50 yrs that you did find acceptable?

Well coaches like Sumlin and Spurrier do NOT get beat at home by conference teams and they don't ever get their asses handed to them

To be fair MSU let off the gas in the 4th quarter.. You and I both know they could have put up 50 in that game if they wanted to... They went into prevent and were only rushing three. So the score is very misleading...

Only stat gazers would say this about the MSU game. Sure LSU put up a fight in the last 4 minutes, but MSU dominated that game.

Did you watch the game? LSU scored their 1st TD of the 4th quarter with bout 13 mins to play and controlled much of that quarter. I don't know where your 4 min. fight comes from.
Did State appear to lose focus? Yes. Was the game one sided score wise till the 4th? Yes.
LSU throwing a pass to the State goal line in the last min of the game in an attempt to win the game doesn't not equate to LSU getting "blasted" in my book. If it does in yours, knock yourself out.

With just a little bit better run blocking we would of won that game once our backs get pass the line of scrimmage their dbs didnt a chance a chance that's was our best chance of winning ,Coach is a great game planner and a lot of the rantards stink at play calling !
