I was expecting the worst, but now that I think about it, Les Miles never even announced the suspensions from last year. Didn't he term it something like, "did not play", or "coaches decision"? Les Miles doesn't normally make suspensions known in public.

Someone please give me a serious answer on this, as I have no idea about media relations, etc...
But would LSU go out of their way to hunt up media to attend a press conference that was conveying bad news?
If it was a suspension, and under the theory that no one player is all that important to the team concept, wouldn't Miles just suspend him, let "that be that"?
