Why can't he just be honest and answer a question using normal conversation context and language. Since we've known him for so long, it's obvious that:

1. "I'm not considering a coaching change" means he's not thinking about coaching changes NOW, but definitely will considerate it after the bowl game.

2. "I do not call the plays" means he decides which play to use and our backup QB signals('calls') it to Harris.

Why does he do this????????? Jesus Christ!

I mean, it's funny, but frick!!

Reporters take it and run with it and you never know what the truth is until it's evident.

Miles greatest legacy will be inventing coach speak. I'm positive it will eventually catch on with the majority of coaches.

The only time Miles is calling plays is when he has the playbook in his hand (which is rare).

He analyzes player match ups, gives suggestions to Cam on an upcoming drive, etc

I know this for a fact

I want him to be honest! He's not dumb, he knows we need to move on from CamCam and he knows we all know he "calls" the plays from a few CamCam gives him. He HAS to use ambiguity when he talks to the media, it's like it's fun to him or something - to be deceiving. frick that!

out of all the quotes for Miles over the years, these 2 seem fairly straight forward...

I'm confused

Yeah let's tell recruits their coaches won't be here. Brilliant.

You're missing my point. He's deceitful in his wording. Of course he wouldn't say "After the bowl game we'll be looking at staff change opportunities". He doesn't have to say that. All he has to say is "we have a game to prepare for and talks of staff changes would hurt our preparation" - I don't know! Anything but ambiguity will work!

Once you come to the realization, (and this is a struggle for many fans), that you do NOT know shite about football and that these coaches are getting paid a lot of money because they know a little more than the average message board poster, then you will be able to sleep at night again.

There is a difference between lying to the media and conversational language.

Both of those sentences are direct answers.

Do you calls the plays? No i don't call the plays. Thats a direct answer. You just think he is lying so you made a convoluted meaning to it.

I am not considering a coaching change. Is a direct answer. You just think he is lying.

things could be different now.. but players straight up said Miles was calling plays in the past.

Regardless, you know he is HEAVILY influenced in the offensive play calling
