Oh i know. He loves to ask for reasons and then shits on every one of them. He hates miles. 3 wins in 11 years will do that to a mind.

I won't do anything but I'm almost certain the administration will do something.

No need. Miles is better than every auburn coach ever. Their one decent coach was a drunk that lucked into bo jackson.

And Gray will cry like the little biotch he is if this happens.

Personally I hope Miles changes his philosophy a bit and guides this team to a NC then in a few years rides off into the sunset as the GOAT at LSU.
The reality is, we havent seen this team on the field yet and until we do, I'm not convinced we have made enough changes from last year in our offensive scheme to win the big ones in November. The coaches are talking a good game but lets see it first. That would seem fair to all but the most dense homer.

we will see a more balanced attack this year. Experience is crucial and any coach will tell u that. Call it an excuse for u want but if they would've unleashed the offense last year we would've lost more games. This year we have a veteren offense that will be able to execute the passing game. Bottom line is with LF and DG they need a lot of touches period. So don't expect us to throw 60% of the time. I see as 55-45% run pass ratio but with better efficiency from Harris. He's not a one read qb anymore. The 45% passing will be much better and similar to the 2013 numbers. With a good D that's perfect. Harris threw for about 2200 yards as a 1st yr starter as a tru soph. He's gonna easily hit 3k imo.

Our defense was the bigger concern in our 3 losses. We gave up 99 points in those 3 losses. 2 of those games our defense gave up tds to where we were so far behind that we basically couldnt run our offense and had to rely on a qb with a sports hernia.

I do agree we need better balance to beat bama.

Id be happy with 55-45. Most people dont realize what a huge difference it is to ask a HS qb to become a full field progression qb. IMO Harris has all the tools needed to be a great qb.

I would love to see Miles retire with another NC but he's got to create somewhat of a legitimate passing game for that to happen. People can throw out all the stats they want to try to prove the passing game isn't as bad as it's made out to be but we all know deep down that's BS. The passing game was and has been horrendous for two years in a row. It's downright sad for a team the caliber of LSU. It has been pretty much non existent and nobody respects it.

I guess Florida had a shite defense.

Against Florida, three plays come to mind...a flea flicker that led to a TD, a virtual Hail Mary where Harris escaped a sack and tossed a deep ball to Dupre for a score right before halftime, and the fake field goal. In short LF7 ran like a champ, but to expect that sort of "trick or busted" play production again anywhere, nevertheless in the Swamp, is not realistic. Oh yeah, and we barely won that game at home with all of that working for us.

Why would he change? He believes in what he learned from Bo Schembechler. He wants to coach like Bo and he wants a team who's style pays homage to Bo. He's been overall very successful at LSU and has made it clear he doesn't want to evolve with college football. This is who Miles is as a coach, its what he knows and is comfortable with.

I'd be ok with MOSTLY more of the same, if there's a little less predictability thrown in by adding a few wrinkles. It will also open up that running game against better defenses.

YES!

I think we saw some of that in the bowl game last year. the last thing we need to do is substantially change our offensive scheme. we have great run blockers and great running backs; if we decide to play flag football we are fricked.

With 5 and 7 he'd be an idiot to turn the offense over to 6. That's no knock on 6 either.

He just needs to run some more misdirection, sweeps, screens and the offense would be good. Hopefully he'll do that.

We had a serviceable offense last year. It just happened to be coupled with the worst LSU defense this millennium. No one seems to get that though, not all loses are the offense's fault. Arky and Ole miss were just terrible D.

not to minimize our woes on offense last year (in the big 3 games and yes the aggie game), but you are spot on our defensive problems last year. kevin steele leaving was, BY FAR, the best off season event we experienced. it wasn't all his fault as fat arse Chavis and Haley fricked us royally on the front 7 recruiting but our D was damn porous and couldn't get off the field.

Oh jeez. Can the season start already?

Our running game is the best in the business. We will tweak somewhat the passing game. But here is the thing: when teams come prepared to stop the run, they leave themselves susceptible to downfield passing. Safeties up means the secondary is weakest downfield.

I know everyone wants more intermediate passing and more passing to the TEs but those are precisely the routes that a defense bent on stopping the run can still effectively cover.

The 2016 offense will be a repeat of the 2013 offense. Mett went downfield a ton. It will be slightly more diversified than 2015, but the real change will come from execution. Just like the difference between 2012 and 2013 was mainly due to having a seasoned QB execute a lot better.

this statement is idiocy and proves to me you equate offensive stats with success. the object is to WIN THE frickING GAME. the teams you mentioned would get killed in the SEC. comparing their stats to LSU is ignorant. bama won the Natty and their offensive stats weren't anywhere close to number 1 and many of these small teams in shite conferences were ranked higher than them.

You guys repeating the same old garbage about the offense aren't any better than Miles running the same offense as far as being repetitive and tiresome. One of two things are going to happen this year.....

1) There will be a change this year. The offense will change and you guys can get all those pretty WR stats you all want...

2) Les won't change a thing and will get fired.

So bottom line, most everyone here will get what they have been clammoring for, one way or another.

What a complete crock of shite. No one wants LSU to lose or play poorly. You have got to be a special kind of idiot to think that would be the case.
