2015 will be the same as 2014 at the QB position sadly

if so that means harris didn't take the job. of course miles will be blamed and people will holler for harris to transfer.

anybody that thinks miles plays the worst qb because he has pets is really not using common sense.

Jefferson played "well" in like 3 games in 2011. Georgia and alabama will be his lasting legacy though.

He doesn't have the physical skills, either. Even on 20 yards passes, his throws are "floaters" - and that's not gonna get it in this league. Plus, his running ability doesn't make up for his lack of passing skills since he is a mediocre runner at best.

From the sound of things, Harris must be pretty bad, too. We fricked 'til 2016.

Jennings has limited arm strength. You have to limit the offense in order for him to be a good QB.

The Rant will not rest until Miles announces AJ is a solid backup and rightfully so.

I really don't think so. I think he lacks the arm strength to make throws in timing routes.

I think lack of arm strength is what leads to his inaccuracy issues. He has to put everything behind it, and the accuracy suffers because of it.

Are we going to go 24-3 and play for the NC as well??

with Jennings,

So, you were pleased with Harris play as a starter?

I cant help but be amused when I see Jennings portrayed as a QB who sucks and Harris portrayed as the Savior for LSU football. I keep trying to figure out what I missed from our QB play last yr. to have some seeing such a vast difference between the 2 guys play.

Seems that just wanting one of the guys to step up without caring which one does the stepping not allowed. We have to have a favorite!

I can almost guarantee you if Anthony Jennings takes the majority of the snaps next year, we will lose four games. The kid cannot play at this level. It isn't his fault b/c by all accounts he is doing everything the coaches are asking and then some, but he doesn't seem to have to the tools needed to be a competent SEC starting QB. It isn't an overreaction, or being negative, its just a simple observation of the 15 games the kid has played.

Miles used to say the same about Jefferson. I'll buy it when I see it in a game.

I guess youre one of those people that dont think players can get better. You werent around for Mett putting up damn near identical td-int #'s in 2012 to what Jenning did in 2014.

No you don't. He can run the offense fine with his physical tools.

Decision making, knowledge, and awareness dictate offensive play calling much more than any fans preconceived notion of arm strength.

His poor performance can be attributed to the mental aspect much more so than the physical. He has the tools. Harris does too, I am not playing favorites.

Cameron must get thru to one of them, I don't care which,

If Jennings looked good in the scrimmage, Thank God. I don't know why it would be perceived negatively by anyone.

Except Jefferson had decent years at lsu. JJ had 2 years with a qb rating higher than Flynn's in 2007.

I've seen absolutely no evidence that this is true.

This DOES have a degree of truth as it relates to Cam's offense specifically. Big-armed QBs like Mett, Harris, and Franks are tailor-made for the Air Coryell offense.

Jennings has the tools to be an effective QB, but it's a bad philosophical match, and we saw that early in 2014.

He will drop these subtle hints all spring and summer until the first snap when he will start AJ, as he has planned since last year.

Who thought Jennings wasn't going to start last year? I assure you, Miles will play who he thinks gives us the best chance to win. If anything, Harris needs to prove himself. Even Les said they know he can be better.

IMO they want Harris to put it together. They never would have played him if they felt otherwise.

I see this BS argument constantly. I really don't care about your opinions on the QB's but that argument is just wrong. Mett nearly had 300 against Bama (The national Champions) and played better throughout the year. AJ had his most yards in the Wiscy game, and didn't complete over 50% of his passes. You have to be legitimately retarded to think that AJ=Mett
