Jefferson is doing the best that he can.We would all get off of his back if Miles wouldn't push him to be the starter. This is like the coach starting his son not because he is the best, but because he wants the son to be what he the coach never was.I've coach a lot of baseball and saw this happen many times.I hope this doesn't hurt Jefferson in life.God be with Jefferson and I know he is a great kid.Let him rest and the game will slow down for him.

JJ has photos. What else could it be? Oh Les is just stubborn- or dumb- or both.

I agree and posted that earlier. I think what he is being asked to do has become unfair for Jefferson. He needs to step away and watch for a while and gather himself.

I feel sorry for the kid. I said earlier that he looks like he has the entire weight of the LSU program on his shoulders. I hate it when they zoom in on his face when he is on the sideline during a game. The kid needs a break.

If you are a decent person your heart goes out to this kid no matter who your team is. The kid is laying it all on the line for his team and is actually getting worse which tells me it is mental. He just needs a break.

I don't believe he will start this week. I believe Les will not say till game time to make it harder on Auburn to scheme and split their time but game day, it's gonna be the Lee show with JJ coming in on short running conditions. If he's smart he's got a play cooking where JJ pitches it to Shep for a pass down the field to Randle.

This!! - I feel sorry for JJ - but damn, how do you express that sentiment without it looking like a dig at him.

All the bad vibes is all for Les - Clue Les Miles.

If there is a reason or are reasons that Mr. Jefferson's presence in the game-on offense-presents an advantage for LSU, it is not immediately clear. Or at length either...

How may practices have you attended? You have no clue as to what is going on inside of the team. It's just all too easy to bash Jefferson or Miles to compensate for your won ignorance isn't it?

Shouldn't it be enough that almost to a man the team came out in support of Miles? THEY know what's going on. We don't.

What kind of psychobabble drivel is this? Are you serious? For the record, there are no personal feeling involved here. It is about performance. Mr. Jefferson may offer his body as a sacrifice for the propitiation of others' sins, but that is, my dear fellow, beside the point.

Has Mr. Jefferson suffered some extraordinary loss or overcome odds that recommended heavily against his ever playing at athletic endeavor? He is a man no more or less than others so far as this board is concerned. Why, exactly, should our hearts go out to this kid?

I can imagine how it may feel not to succeed as one may have wished or to experience the sting of failure. But one's character is revealed by his response to adversity. So far as giving LSU the best chance possible to win, he need not play QB again. That is all there is to it.

I think JJ's "mommie" told ole les she will sic the NAACP on him if he benches her son in favor of Lee.

Can be no other reason which would keep a game time mental midgit like JJ on the field!

Les just needs to swap the two. Start Lee, give him most of the snaps, bring in JJ to spell JL a few series.

You know this? Of course ,the team would support AAron Brooks if he was the starter, and whoever is the coach, teams stick together. All I or you know is what we see on the field.Im sure Les and JJ are great people. Heck Curley and Tepper where probably great people and supported by thier players.
