Miles Future?

I was watching the game and an outsider, not even an LSU fan brought up the whole situation that occurred at the end of last year and he threw out an interesting point.
What if Miles just told them. Look I'm all about the future of LSU and if it's indeed true that you guys wanna go a different route, can you let me just have 1 more year cause I was planning on retiring after 2016.
He feels as an outsider us bringing in Aranda has something to do with the possible changes arising at the conclusion of this year.
Basically he feels that both parties agreed to this being his last year anyways. Thoughts?

If that was the plan, i think they would have made it known to avoid all the criticism and bad publicity.

Wholeheartedly disagree with this assessment. Jimbo was ready to come to LSU and we backed out at the last second over optics and politics.

Retire and walk away from $12 million? Les has a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan! :-)

I doubt Les retires after Jan 1st when its only 6.5 Million
